Time to write, to make art, to rest. Sunshine, nourishing food, and room to simply be.

Activities
Wild Writing
Every morning we will gather for our anchor practice of the week – Wild Writing! You don’t need to be an experienced writer to get the benefits of this practice. We believe that writing together not only makes us better writers, but it allows us to connect to ourselves and the circle in the most beautiful way.
SoulCollage®
We wil be offering several sessions of SoulCollage® throughout our week together! This is an intuitive collage practice where we use images, imagination, and personal symbolism. By assembling simple collage cards and giving them a voice, you begin to access your inner wisdom, uncover hidden aspects of yourself, and deepen your relationship with your own life. No art experience is needed.
Portraits
Andrea is a professional photographer and will be taking portraits throughout our week together. Magic hour and sunset at the beach? Yes, please! Come away with a dreamy beachy portrait of yourself as a momento from our time together.
Spa
The spa is in a quiet garden surrounded by jungle, with a large outdoor Jacuzzi, a cold plunge pool and chaise lounge chairs.
Therapeutic massage services include a variety of styles: Swedish, deep tissue, Thai-yoga, reflexology, among others. Our spa also offers beauty treatments including facials, body wraps, manicures and pedicures.
Optional add-on Excursions
Snorkel at Isla Coral: Take a 25 minute boat ride to an uninhabited island with crystal clear waters to discover the sea life in our region. Snorkel gear is provided.
Visit nearby beach towns: ie. Sayulita, San Pancho, etc. Spend the day exploring nearby beach towns along the Riviera Nayarit. For a beginners surfing destination, head to Sayulita, just 45 minutes away, with surf lessons and equipment rental, shops, restaurants and bars.
Whale watching + more!
Whale Watching (December- March): Take an early morning boat ride to search for humpback whales that migrate annually from Alaska to Mexico for the breeding season and enjoy seeing these magnificent creatures in the wild.
Altavista Hike: Visit the petroglyphs (rock carvings) of Altavista, thought to be around 2,000 years old. The site is still a very important spiritual and ritual place for the Huichol Indigenous communities of the region.
Organic Farm to table meals
Meals at Mar de Jade are a favorite of their guests! Delicious and well balanced buffet-style meals are served three times daily in their open-air dining room overlooking Chacala bay.
Every dish is made daily from scratch using fresh ingredients from their Organic Farm. The menu is inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine and international flavors, and features vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes as well as fresh fish, seafood and, chicken. (No red meat or pork)
Got dietary reistrictions?
The kitchen is happy to accommodate your dietary restrictions and food allergies, if given advance notice. All of their raw foods are carefully disinfected and washed with purified water. Free purified water is available at stations throughout the grounds.
Mar de Jade
We’ve been coming to Mexico for decades, and hosted retreats for nearly 10 years. But we’ve never gone to the beach for our work! And we are really excited about this place. For over 35 years, Mar de Jade has been a gathering place for retreats from around the world. Nestled between jungle and ocean, it is far more than a wellness resort — it is a place with heart and history.
Getting There
Mar de Jade is located approximately 90 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta International Airport on the Riviera Nayarit.
You may arrive by rental car, bus, or taxi. The resort recommends taxi transport and can help arrange this for you.

Booking Your Spot
Reserving your spot happens in two steps:
Step 1: Pay your Wild Wonder Tuition
$1,800 usd
Deposit: A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your spot. (Balance of $1,300 will be due September 12th, 2026)
Step 2: Book your room at Mar de Jade
Choose your accommodation and complete payment directly with the resort. Prices for accommodations vary by room selection + whether you want a private room or a share.
