For many years, our work has been exploring and diving into practices that help us tap into our most authentic, soulful selves. Through writing and art-making, we have crafted a rich and intuitive journey that invites us into a landscape of beauty and self expression.
We take this work all over the world. That’s why we’re so excited to create a weekend on our home turf – both for locals and anyone from around the country who wants to come.

Wild Writing each day with Laurie Wagner
Part of our weekend we’ll drop into Wild Writing, one of the most simple, most deep writing practices we know. Like SoulCollage®, Wild Writing is a deeply intuitive practice that invites us to relax and to trust the stories and the words moving through us.
When we’re relaxed, words come easily and sharing is natural. This is how we connect to ourselves and others on the page. You don’t need to be a writer to easily fall into this generous and healing practice.
Andrea will lead us in a creative practice called SoulCollage®
Andrea is a certified facilitator in this rich, creative practice designed for deep self-discovery and creative play.
During this part of the day, you will be invited to create an intuitive collage from magazine images and other elements. We will then go deeper into reflection, journaling and sharing around the images we create.
It’s a powerful + beautiful way to speak to the parts of ourselves that have wisdom to share, to make the unconscious conscious and explore our inner world while connecting to others. It pairs beautifully with the Wild Writing portion of the day!

Where is the retreat and how do I get there?
The retreat will be in Alameda, CA at Laurie’s private home. The closest airport is in Oakland, CA but SFO is easily accessible as well. Please find a hotel or Airbnb for the weekend if you’re not local.
I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
There are plenty of Airbnb’s and hotels on Alameda island where Laurie lives. After you sign up, we will send you a list.
Do I need to be a writer or an artist to participate?
You are good! Our practices are for everybody, no matter your level of experience.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring:
- A notebook and a pen
- Comfortable clothing
- A sack lunch
What is your cancellation policy?
Refund Policy:
- Cancel before April 2nd, 2026: Get $200 back
- Cancel after April 2nd, 2026: No refund, but you can give your ticket to a friend
- We’ll try to fill your spot from our waiting list if we have one
